[RMV] Loot Crate

RPG Maker MV Plugin – Loot Crate

DOWNLOAD (Mirror 2)

In order to use this plugin, you must place this note tag on your Item notebox:

It means that whatever is inside the lootcrate note tag, would be the ones included to be unpacked when the certain item tagged with it is used. We have three commands:

gainItem(itemId, amount);
gainWeapon(weaponId, amount);
gainArmor(armorId, amount);

where itemId, weaponId, armorId is the id of the specific item, weapon or armor you want to be unpacked, while the amount is how many of those items do you want gained.

For example, I want to gain items 1, 2, 3 and 4…I can say place something like this on my item note box:
gainItem(1, 1);
gainItem(2, 1);
gainItem(3, 1);
gainItem(4, 1);

Now, when I use the item with this note tag, what it does is it is going to consume the item you used and unpack items 1, 2, 3, 4.

Same goes if you want some weapon and armor instead of items:
gainWeapon(8, 1);
gainArmor(12, 1);
gainArmor(13, 1);

For random items, you can do:
gainItem(Math.floor(Math.random() * 10), 1);

It lets you randomize the value whether you want
iten 1, 2… randomly. The *10 on the formula
is the value of the randomized number. That means
from item 1 to 10.

This works for Item Noteboxes only. This is to simulate Loot Crates, as seen in real life.

Month of June Reports and Progress

Today is the 18th of June and there has been a lot of progress with all I do. I will be doing a month report of what has been achieved and what will be done throughout the rest of the month of June to July.

MV Plugins Fixes

I have fixed a few reported plugins that have had its errors and bugs. You can find both Round 1 and 2 posts here:

Plugin Updates for MV’s Newer Version

I have noticed that since there has been changes with the newer MV’s library, I would have to make sure that my plugins are still working in it. I would have to update my engine as well for this. Will all my plugins that would have complications with the new engine be updated? Yes.

Retro Gaming Night on YouTube Channel

As you may have noticed, I have recently continued uploading gameplays of old console games. I played Puyo Puyo before and I thought of continuing them by playing some games in the NES, SNES and Sega Genesis. Aside from my MV plugin videos and tutorials, I will be uploading the videos every time I have the chance to play.

I have been recently doing commissions, so my time is divided with Patreon and the signed commissions. I will be finishing them first before any other tutorials are to be posted. Once the commissions are done, I will be back doing more tutorials.

Real Life Work

I have to include this because I have to take a rest for a while. There’s a near upcoming event (Tanabata Matsuri) and I am a part, so I would have to concentrate on that for the rest of the two month period. Will there be plugins posted after my break? Yes. The patrons would of course have them first but to be released publicly after all my matters here in the PH is finished.

So anyways, yeah, this will be it for now and see you soon. Enjoy my gameplay of Recca!

RPG Maker MV Plugin – Main Menu Orion

Plugin for RPG Maker MV – Main Menu Orion

Author: Soulpour777

Current Version: 1.0

Compatible with: YEP_CoreEngine and YEP_MainMenuManager.

If both plugins are used, the order should be:

This plugin allows you to give your menu a new design, look and feel. It gives you the vibe of those RPGs you played, but still gives you a fresh look of your game.

This plugin is very Yanfly friendly, and you will surely be able to use this plugin with his.

Playtime Window – this menu has a feature that can display your current game time.

Location Window – this menu has a feature that can display your current location in the game.

CustomWindow – this menu has a feature that allows the developer to display desired text content below. It doesn’t have to be a mini quest, it can be the game’s title, a quote, etc.

Menu Background – you can change the main menu background.

You may have noticed the Menu Help Parameters labeled from 1 to 100. What are those?

If you’re using Yanfly’s Main Menu Manager, he specified 100 extra menu items that you can add for your menu. This plugin supports that by default, so you can the text dialogue displayed above for each item. The custom menu items will still work without the Yanfly Menu Manager.

With this plugin, you can change the main menu background.

Place all background images at img / system folder.

This plugin has a script command as follows:

$gameSystem.miniQuestTXT = x;

where x should be a string, or in other words, set of words or text.

$gameSystem.miniQuestTXT = “Current Quest: Find Lala’s Cat!”;

The mini quest will be displayed on the custom window on the lower left corner of the menu.

Q: I always see that the parameters are tagged with eval.

What is an eval?

A: eval is a function that basically converts a string into a function or interpreters any given value into function or numerical figure. So in that sense, if you know a bit of javascript, you can input a string function so the eval can convert it for you. This lessens the developer’s time to worry what the exact measurement or x / y position they want to draft their windows in, if they know a variable inside the scripts that they can manipulate.

Are you tired using the same title screen plugin over and over again with your multiple RPG Maker MV games? Are you tired seeing the same particle system and design overused in your games? Introducing Soul Ultimate Title Screen, the plugin that would allow you to design your title screen the way you want it, the way you want it remembered!

– Mouse Supported, Adjustable, Multiple Buttons

– Multiple Fogs

– Multiple Overlay Images

– Adjustable Logo

– Extra Objects

– Mouse Effects

– Particle System (Built In)

Current Version: 1.0 as of 6 / 13 / 2016

– Original Creation Date

Each button is categorized within Position and Image. X and Y determines what part in the screen they will be displayed. Each has their own function and you can use your mouse or tap from your mobile (once exported) to select it.

A. X and Y Axis

There are only two properties of the logo, the x and y axis. You can place the logo anywhere you want, as opposed to the default centered logo. The logo is no other than the Title Logo Image, that you can set up via the plugin parameter.

Other images aside from title backgrounds should be in img / ultimate_title folder

A. Image

You can set up which image is used for each action that is executed by the button, either active or inactive.

B. X and Y Axis

You can setup the image’s position via the X and Y property of the buttons.

Fogs have Scrollable properties. It means that you can scroll them both horizontally, vertically or diagonally depending on the speed and direction you placed on the Scroll X and Scroll Y properties.

You can also decide whether you want to use them or not using the Use Property.

A. Property

The title objects are images that can be displayed on the screen that have three properties. It can be a:

Sprite – a Sprite Object.

TilingSprite – a scrollable image.

Sprite_Button – you can tie in a function once the image is clicked / tapped.

B. Action

When you use the ‘website’ action for the title object, you can go to the WEB tag and place down the website URL that the game engine would go to once the title object is clicked / tapped.

When you use the ‘command’ action for the title object, you can go to the CMD tag and place down the function code that the game engine would execute once the title object is clicked / tapped. The user of this plugin is advised that you only use the command property if you have an advanced knowledge in JavaScript or you know what functions you can place inside the command. If they don’t exist, it will return you an error.

The Chapter System allows you to change the background used in the title screen depending on what chapter currently the game is in. This only works if you are in game, changed the chapter and return to the title screen.

To change a chapter, do this plugin command:

Soul_UltimateTitleScreen Chapter_Set x

where x is the chapter number you want the title to change into.

The title backgrounds should be inside img / titles1

MV Plugins Bug Fix – ROUND 2

Let’s settle for the second round of me fixing the bugs in my plugins. I am constantly checking reports, so even if it takes a while I read them and fix the report errors.

Waypoint System – I updated this plugin and fixed the waypoint number error. Download the update directly here.

New Game Plus – The error on map transfer has been fixed. Download the update directly here.

Battle Scaling – The error on actor and enemy scaling has been fixed. Please be reminded that battle scaling does not include Battle Test. Download the update directly here.

That’s it for Round 2. I will do the remaining bugged plugins that I have. If there are plugins from me that you’re using and somehow has some bug, always return a report so I can find the best way I can to update it.
